Spotted at the screening on Parnell Street in Dublin on Wednesday evening were Gail and Jumar Kaneswaran, models Karl Bowe and Carl Shaaban, Roisin O’Hea, Lisa Nolan, Nirina Plunkett and SPIN1038 presenter Peter Collins.

Johnson stars as primatologist Davis Okoye, a man who keeps people at a distance but shares an unshakable bond with George, the extraordinarily intelligent, incredibly rare albino silverback gorilla.

Karl Bowe Pic Brian McEvoy Photography

Georgre has been in his care since he rescued the young orphan from poachers.

But a rogue genetic experiment gone awry mutates this gentle ape into a raging creature of enormous size.

To make matters worse, it’s soon discovered there are other similarly altered animals.

Gina Kavanagh Pic Brian McEvoy Photography

As these newly created alpha predators tear across North America, destroying everything in their path, Okoye teams with discredited geneticist Kate Caldwell (Naomie Harris) to secure an antidote.

Dwayne is seen fighting his way through an ever-changing battlefield, not only to halt a global catastrophe but to save the fearsome creature that was once his friend.

Johnson made headlines recently when he opened up about his struggles with mental health smashing through some of the stigma surrounding men talking about their mental health.

Roisin O’Hea Pic Brian McEvoy Photography

Rampage also stars Oscar nominee Naomie Harris who starred in the Academy Award winning Moonlight.

Stars from top TV shows also took part including Malin Akerman from Billions, Jake Lacy from Girls, Joe Manganiello from True Blood and Jeffrey Dean Morgan The Walking Dead.

P.J. Byrne from The Wolf of Wall Street, Marley Shelton from Rise and Breanne Hill from Frontier are other familiar famous faces involved.

Costing $120million to make, Rampage is based of a 1986 arcade game which Wraner Bros acquired the right to in 2009.

It was shot in Chicago and Atlanta.

Georgie, SPIN1038’s entertainment editor, has been publicly sharing her own battle with breast cancer over the last few months in a bid to get more women, particularly young ladies to check their breasts for signs of the disease.

We won! I’m still in shock! What a night for #BreastCancerIre. To share the stage with so many survivors and truly amazing people was an absolute honour. It was never about winning, but to show that us survivors can turn this scary, sometimes lonely journey into a positive. To see Aisling Hurley, Samantha McGregor and Ciara Holmes pull a night like that together was inspiring and what girl power is really about. Thank you to my dance partner Darragh for his compassion and our dance teacher Lizzie for being an absolute legend. My family especially my husband Jamie, you are my rock. And my mum with her amazing support day in day out. Thank you to the judges for their amazing words which I will never ever forget. Thanks to @vanityrooms and @makeupforeverofficial for making me look like my old self for a night, it was hard to take off the wig and make up to get there but your sensitivity was so appreciated. Together, with your help, myself and Darragh raised €7,000 for @breastcancerireland, who are researching a cure everyday. Hanging up my dancing shoes.. well, til next year.. please god 🙏❤ @aisling_hurley @samanthamcgre @ciaraholmes @lizzpots @jamiecrawford11

Tristan Thompson has been forced to delete an Instagram post, after being trolled by Khloe Kardashian fans.

After the news of Tristan’s alleged infidelity hit headlines just 48 hours before Khloe gave birth to their daughter True last week, Khloe’s fans flocked to Tristan’s Instagram account.

In various ‘I hope’ messages, fans commented on Tristan’s most recent Insta pic with some hilariously petty messages like, “I hope every time you change your sheets the corner you just did pings off.”

Another fan wrote, “I hope you get stuck in an elevator with Solange,” and, “I hope Blac Chyna hits you with a stroller.”

Eventually, the trolling became too much for Tristan and he deleted the post picture altogether.

Meanwhile, TMZ have reported that Khloe and Tristan’s relationship is hanging on by a thread.

Today FM hosted ‘Live for Music’ in Vicar Street in front of 1,500 people.

The event was a celebration of Today FM’s passion for live music.

The sold-out gig saw performances from David Gray, Bell X1, The Coronas, The Riptide Movement, Brian Deady, Soulé, Mundy and Thanks Brother along with Today FM presenters Ian Dempsey, Mario Rosenstock, Dermot and Dave, Muireann O’Connell, Matt Cooper, Paul McLoone, Alison Curtis, Phil Cawley, and weekend music presenter Declan Pierce.

David Gray, who holds the title of the biggest selling album of all time in Ireland with his album White Ladder, headlined the event and treated the audience to iconic songs such as ‘Babylon’ and ‘This Year’s Love’. Gray, introduced on stage by Today FM’s Paul McLoone, finished his set with a very special performance of ‘Sail Away’. It proved to be the perfect ending to an unforgettable evening.

Ian Dempsey celebrated 20 years of incredible music as he introduced BellX1 who performed much-loved favourites that have been supported by Today FM throughout their 20-year career – songs such as ‘Rocky’, ‘Flame’ and of course ‘Mystery Girl’.

Meanwhile, Mario Rosenstock who is in the middle of his sold-out ‘In Your Face’ comedy tour took to the stage to channel a Gift Grub legend, the President of Ireland, Michael D Higgins. Michael D had enjoyed a very special birthday moment as the entire audience sang “Happy Birthday” to him.

Mid-Morning duo, Dermot & Dave found themselves interrupted on stage as Danny O’Reilly from the Coronas joined the lads to perform ‘Mark My Words’ just as they were slagging him off (not really!).

A magical performance of Mic Christopher’s ‘Heyday’ was undoubtedly one of the highlights of the night, with many of the acts taking to the stage to have a jouyous sing-along with the crowd – bands like Hudson Taylor, Thanks Brother and The Coronas.

Kennedy’s Pub, dating back to the 1850’s and the former workplace of Oscar Wilde, last night held the Media and Influencer launch of their new cocktail bar ‘Kennedy’s Station’.

The historic Dublin pub, nestled within Westland Row, Dublin 2, decided to add a modern cocktail bar downstairs within their venue, in order to evolve with the needs of modern Dublin and the bustling office area in which they are located.

Dublin’s top media and celebrity socialisers were out in force, including models Aoife Walsh and Jo Archbold, and Stylists Justine King, Laura Mullet and Clementine Mac Neice.
