Well-known faces, including Colm Hayes and Lucy Kennedy, stepped out on Monday evening for the special preview screening of Bumblebee at the Odeon Cinema in Point Square.
Other familair faces spotted on the yellow carpet include DWTS alumni Dayl Cronin, and model Gail Kaneswaran .
The film is set in 1987, and follows the story of a teenage girl who discovers an old, battered and rusty Volkswagen Beetle in a small town’s junkyard – and she soon learns that it’s secretly a Transformer called ‘Bumblebee’.
Bumblebee’s on the run, battle-worn and damaged; Charlie’s about to turn 18 and trying to find her place in the world.
Together, they’ll forge a new friendship and set out on an adventure that neither of them could have foreseen.
The film stars Hailee Steinfeld and John Cena.
