Madonna has made sure to celebrate her 60th birthday in iconic style – with a five-day party in Morocco.
The Queen of pop is worth an estimated £464million, so it’s no surprise that the singer rented a Moroccan Palace for the milestone.
The singer took to Instagram to share pictures of the 5-day party with her fans.
Madonna’s party is said to have gone on until 4am, but apparently none of her own music was played at the bash.
Speaking to the UK Sun an insider told the publication: “Madonna had Moroccan music and the guests dressed the Bedouin way, all of them.
“We expected she may have sung but no one played her music. She told them not to and to not ask for it. There was no man with her, just the children.
“They partied until 4am. Madonna is very polite and very modest. She drinks but small amounts. She never got drunk,” the source added.
Sharing a glimpse of the celebrations, Madonna wrote: “Finally and at last its my Birthday! . I have survived! !Life is Beautiful! #gucci #Marakesh #magic #adventure!”
“Yes Bishes Its my Birthday! Thank you to my fans and friends all around the world! #berber #bedouin #marakesh #magic #inspiration #blessed.”
The Papa Don’t Preach singer flew out her closest friends and family for the party, and put them up in the luxury hotel Riad el Fenn in Marrakesh, which is owned by Richard Branson’s sister Vanessa.
She was joined by all six of her children – Lourdes, 21, Rocco, 18, David, 12, Mercy James, also 12, and twins Stella and Esther, 5.
